How to Start Windows with Safe Mode in Windows 7

Ok, for my second post, it's still have same topic from My first post.But, this is about How to Start Windows with Safe Mode in Windows 7. So, Come'on Check it out :)

What do I need?


You Just need a PC and Mouse. lol. Ok, There is two method, The first Method is Using F8 Key and the second method is using msconfig. Just like My first post right? :)

1. Using F8 Key Method
  1. What you need to do is same for Windows XP. but, if you wont read how to start windows with safe mode in Windows XP, I'll write it here :).
  2. First of all, Reboot (restart) your Computer
  3. When the computer starts you will see your computer's hardware being listed. When you see this information start to gently tap the F8 key on your keyboard repeatedly until you are presented with the Windows 7 Advanced Boot Options like this image below :



  4. When you get there, Select "Safe Mode" then press enter.
  5. Done. :)

2. Using msconfig method
  1. I wont to say this but, this is still same like on Windows XP lol.
  2. Ok. First, Open Start button - click run (windows + R)
  3. After Run dialog opened, type "msconfig" (without double-quote) like image this below :



  4. After typing msconfig, press OK
  5. Then you will see this window :



  6. When you have get that window, click on "BOOT" Tab



  7. After you entered Boot tab, thick the "Safe Boot" like that image.
  8. Then click OK and you will get this warning :



  9. Click "Restart" button to restart your Computer.
  10. After your computer restarting, you will go on safe mode.
  11. Done. :)
How to turn it back?


Just repeat step 1 - 7 but unthick the "safe boot".

How to Start Windows with Safe Mode on Windows XP

1. Using "F8" Method.

  1. First of all, Restart your Computer.
  2. When the machine first starts again it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should gently tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a Windows XP Advanced Options menu.
  3. Select option "Safe Mode" using arrow keys.
  4. Press enter to select it.
  5. If you want to start your windows normally, just reboot your Computer.

2. Using the System Config Method.

  1. First, Close all programs so that you have nothing open and are at the desktop.
  2. Click Start button and then click Run. (Windows + R)
  3. Type "msconfig" (without double-quote) then click Ok



  4. After clicking Ok, You will see this window :



  5. Click on "BOOT.INI" Tab
  6. After clicking "BOOT.INI" Tab, you will see this :



  7. Then thick the "/SAFEBOOT". After thicking "/SAFEBOOT" Click OK
  8. After you click Ok button you will see this :




  9. Click "Restart" to restart your Computer and after you reboot your computer you will on safe mode :).


So, how to make it back to normal?

It's so easy, just Repeat step 1 - 7 but unthick the "/SAFEBOOT".
